I knew grad school would be a lot of work, and I've always been pretty good about balancing work and play, but my work self started to suffocate my play self this week. For the first time in a long time, I stayed in on a Friday night and worked on a paper for 13 hours STRAIGHT. Fortunately, the work is finished and now it is time to play... and update my blog. Here are some gems from the past week or so. Enjoy!
My Organizational Behavior I group.
These are the people I've spent the last two weeks with.
Today we finally finished our paper and are officially finished with OBI!
At least we had a nice view...
Our first family dinner. Leah made quiche!
Candid of Dari and Bogle. There is a lot of laughter in this house.
VERMONT!
Mama Leah!
Everything is fresh in VT :)
Leah's got skills, that's why she's Mama Bear.
Dari at the famous Farmer's Market.
"Enter Here"
This place is amazing.
Mom got a birthday present from this table...and our house did too!
Hitting Main St in search of a couch and kitchen table more than one foot off the floor.
Testing out the goods.
Views from campus!
Family dinner at our NEW table!
Notice the goat cheese pasta I made...
New couch! Our living room has really come together nicely.
On the back wall there is a framed picture Dad took of Roma (not seen)
and to the left of the couch is a framed picture Leah had of the
Astrological Clock from Prague! Happy memories.
View from the back porch- the leaves are already changing and falling here.
How I keep sane: dance parties and tons of laughter.
Papa Bear.
